The Reel Goats is a production company with a niche focus on high-end music videos. They approached Twofold Media with a need for a new website to highlight their incredible work and find new clientele.

The Challenge.

The Reel Goats established a rock-solid foundation on their social following with over 100,000 followers on Instagram – but had no digital presence to back it up. We were faced with the challenge of designing and building a bespoke website that matched their strong color palette and unique branding. This website needed to be fast, responsive, and have a custom-built dynamic projects listing engine for all of their video work. Lastly, they needed Ecommerce capabilities to sell Reel Goats merch.

Homepage Design.

As you’ll always see in our other projects, and this project as well – a homepage mockup and website brand board are created to establish the core foundation of the website. This leads the direction for our buttons, fonts, colors, and everything that makes a clean, consistent design.

Custom Projects.

The Reel Goats needed a featured work page to highlight all of their projects. These post types utilize dynamic titles, hero images, and text, and are fully custom in the WordPress backend.

Dynamic Headers.

Because the Reel Goats website had transparent headers throughout, some pages were dark and needed a white header and the opposite for other pages. For their website, we utilized 3 dynamic headers that display depending on which page they’re assigned to.

3.. 2.. 1.. Launch!

The final step, and our favorite - the website launch.

It is a great feeling when hours of work, collaboration, meetings, and revisions comes together to a fully finished, well built website.  Upon completion, our team transfers the website build from our build environment to the live domain overnight, so no disruptions occur.  The final steps include:

  • Transfer website build onto live domain
  • Check all links, buttons, and plug-ins after transfer
  • Integrations such as sign-ups, inquiries, and contact forms
  • Facebook pixel integration
  • Google analytics connection, Google tag manager & "conversion" Tagging
